The Bruins host the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 7 Friday night at 8:00 PM ET on Versus. Both teams have been in a game-7 situation this season and both teams have what it takes to win.
The key to the Bruins playing their best game will lie in discipline. They'll need to avoid penalties and pump as many shots as they can to Roloson starting early. Boston will need to get off more than the 20 shots they got in game 6. It will be important for them to keep an eye on speedy Right Wing Martin St. Louis and find a way to slow down Tampa Bay’s offense. They haven't been to the finals in 21 seasons and would like to break that streak by taking game 7. Boston is not missing any key players.
Tampa bay fought off elimination for the 4th time in this season's playoffs. The Lightning will want to build on the momentum they started to build late in game 6. They’ll need to remain patient, play tight defense, and do whatever they can to make life difficult for Thomas. It's unclear whether left wing Bergenheim will play. He sat out in game 6.
The Vancouver Canucks are waiting for the outcome and will play Friday nightâ's winner in the Stanley Cup Finals. .
