NFL Playoffs 2011 Round 2

The tightest game in the NFL Playoffs is the clash between the Falcons and the Green Bay Packers. The Falcons are at -2.5 for the matchup and boast a 7-1 record in their last 8 matches. A war of words between the Jets and Patriots
The Jets and the Patriots have engaged in a war of words this week but with New England listed at -9, the Patriots are likely to do their talking on the field. A mid-season defeat to the Browns has seen the Patriots put together an impressive winning streak, averaging over 30 points per game. If you are looking for a top tip for this years MVP, Tom Brady should seal that honor. 36 touchdowns and throwing over 3900 yards mean that Brady is likely to be the difference once again for the Patriots.

The Bears welcome the Seahawks and at -10, the home team islikely to cruise through in this matchup.  The Seahawks are the underdogs for this game but this was also the case in October when the Seahawks won 23-20. That was the middle of a three game losing run for the Bears but they then went on a 7-2 run and went 6-2-1 against the spread. The Seahawks have around 60% of the public behind them for this matchup but the double digit backing for the Bears should see Chicago prevail.

The Steelers carry home advantage

In the final matchup, the Steelers are listed as -3 favorites for their clash with the Ravens. Baltimore won on their last trip to Heinz Field but home advantage could be the difference for the Steelers this time around. The Steelers did gain revenge for this defeat by winning in Baltimore 13-10. Late points secured the win in both matches and this weekend is likely to be the same. Both teams had strong defences over the regular season and both teams have gone UNDER in 5 of their last 7 matchups.
