Two high-powered, undefeated college football teams will battle it out for the 2010 BCS National Championship. Auburn and Oregon kick off at 8:30 PM ET on ESPN. Auburn is favored by 3 points.
Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton and crew haven’t had trouble winning games this season. Auburn (13-0) finished off their season strong with an SEC Championship against South Carolina. The Tigers’ dominance was obvious with a final score of 56-17. They struggled at time, with 3 or less point victories on four separate occasions, but they always managed to get the wins when they needed to.
Cam Newton is 165 for 246 racking up a total of 2,589 yards, 28 touchdowns, and only 6 interceptions. He is their leading rusher with 242 carries and 1,409 yards.
Nearly every game has resulted in lopsided defeats for Oregon opponents this year, winning several games by more than 30 points, and 3 impressive wins over ranked teams. They finished off the regular 2010 season with a 37-20 win against in-state rivals, Oregon State.

Both teams playing tonight are the “real deal”. Stay away from over/under bets. We expect both defenses to tighten up, but this could be a high-scoring offensive shootout. Look for the safeties to be the difference makers tonight.
