Featured Teams: BYU vs. Oregon State
The line for this one is currently hovering around 2.5 points with Oregon State being favored. The total is sitting at 59 points. Oregon State comes in with a 8-4 record and BYU with a 10-2 record. So, why is Oregon State favored you may ask. Well, the number one reason is strength of schedule. Oregon State plays teams like Oregon and USC and every game is a tough one. BYU has a bit of an easier schedule playing less talented teams like New Mexico and Wyoming.
With that being said, we believe in BYU. We think they are a tough enough team to beat Oregon State. Pair our own feelings with the fact that 75% of the public is liking Oregon State and you have a pretty strong pick for us.
BYU just defeated a good Utah football team in week 14. Conversely, Oregon State just almost defeated one of the best teams in the county when playing Oregon and lost a close one 37-34. QB Sean Canfield threw for 306 yards with a pair of touchdowns in that loss.
With all the info we have digested, we are still saying take BYU in the mild upset.
