For the Bulls, this game is clearly much more important than for the Celtics. Chicago had a clutch 16-point win over the Raptors, the team they had been tied with for the final playoff spot, on Sunday. Now they control their own destiny. The Bulls have ridden a roller coaster all season, at times looking like a true playoff team, but other times looking like a confused bunch. Derrick Rose has assumed a leadership role this year and has put the team on his back at times, averaging 20.6 points and 6 assists per game. Joakim Noah, who will be important if Chicago hopes to make a run, grabs 10.9 boards per game, and had a huge game against the Raptors with 18 points and 19 rebounds.
The Celtics have won two out of three games this year against the Bulls. It is the seasons’ next to last game for both teams, and it is important.
